Add Arkansas and Florida to Citizen Rebellion Against Socialized Medicine
Americans all across the country continue to speak out against socialized health care. The latest congressmen to hear the message are Rep. Mike Ross (D-AR), Rep. Vic Snyder (D-AR) and Rep. Ron Klein (D-FL). Socialists like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Henry Waxman probably thought it would be easy to force this on the country, but they failed to realize: they weren’t forcing in onto compliant European sheep–they were trying to force it on Americans.
It’s Not About Health Care! – The Government as Enemy
Out-of-touch elitists in Washington have become accustomed to the American people not paying attention, giving them a free pass on every underhanded action they took. But they may have pushed too far too fast this time, and awakened a group of angry American patriots. The chance to prove that is now and in next year’s elections–will you be a part of returning our country to the right course?
Florida the Latest State to Consider Rejecting Federal Health Care Scheme
Florida is looking to become the latest state to tell the federal government to butt-out of health care. Several states have moved to re-assert their Tenth Amendment rights and powers in the past eight months, with more doing so all the time. The days of socialist trampling of our Constitution may be numbered.
Liberal Politicians: Freedom and Constitution are ‘Dangerous’
Liberal politicians who don’t want to be held accountable for their assaults on freedom are labeling the protests of the American people as “dangerous.” Perhaps this outrage against massive waste, government health care and other assaults on the Constitution really are dangerous–dangerous to their re-election hopes.
Specter, Sebelius Concerned Over Out-of-Touch Voters
In an enlightening guest commentary from Iowahawk, we find that Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA) and Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services are concerned at the disobedient and ungrateful behavior they witnessed at a recent town hall meeting on government health care. It just goes to show how out of touch some voters really are with what’s good for them.
Who Should Pay for the Exercise of Your Rights?
Are other Americans obligated to pay for your access to your rights? For instance, should other Americans be forced to buy you a gun to fulfill your Second Amendment right, or buy you a newspaper to fulfill your First Amendment right? Are other Americans obligated to pay for a theoretical “right” to “free” health care?
The American Dream vs. Sustainability
We are beginning to hear a lot about “sustainability” lately, especially in the Rapid City area. But what is it? It sounds innocuous enough, doesn’t it? Or does it carry with it something more costly and burdensome than we are led to believe? Could it be something we’ve already heard, just re-packaged to sound more non-threatening?
Cash for Clunkers: Your Taxpayer Dollars Up in Smoke
Watch your taxpayer dollars go up in smoke as perfectly good “clunkers” are destroyed on the altar of global warming hysteria in the “Cash for Clunkers” ripoff. This unconstitutional scheme takes taxpayer money to bribe people to trade in perfectly good cars, which are then destroyed as you see in this video–all an insane waste.
Dakota Voice Week in Review, Ending Aug. 1, 2009
The best of the best at Dakota Voice last week, featuring: a presidential science advisor who thinks trees should be able to sue in court…and who doesn’t think children are human yet, President Obama damages race relations, patriots are rising up to fight socialized health care, the high price of “free” health care, another study finds an abortion/breast cancer link, Cash for Clunkers will take ownership of your PC, and states begin to assert their sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.
The Ten Commandments According to The One
From our friends at Patriot Update: After observing Obama on the campaign trail and during his first six months in office, we have concluded that our President lives and governs according to his own set of “Ten Commandments.” They’re certainly NOT the Ten Commandments you learned in Sunday School. In fact, many are the direct [...]
