Citizens for Liberty Press Conference Today
Citizens for Liberty, along with Rapid City and West River area legislators, are holding a press conference at the Pennington County Courthouse Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 1:00 pm.
The purpose of the press conference is to call for open and public discussion of health care reform. Citizens for Liberty and area legislators are organizing a “Recess Rally” on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Veteran’s Memorial in Memorial Park, Rapid City.
All West River legislators of all parties and political persuasions have been invited to the Recess Rally. Additionally, U.S. Senator Tim Johnson, U.S. Senator John Thune and U.S. Representative Stephanie Herseth Sandlin have been invited.
Citizens for Liberty encourages anyone who would like to show show support for the event and/or call for open discussion of health care measures to come to the press conference today.
