Citizens for Liberty Parade Float

Citizens for Liberty participated in their first parade today in the Central States Fair parade in Rapid City.

Sandy Beshara and crew did a great job putting together a patriotic float with a model of the U.S. Constitution as the centerpiece.

Also on the float was a Liberty Bell and plenty of patriotic Americans waving signs showing support for the values that made our nation the greatest on earth.

After the parade, people went over to Memorial Park and lined Omaha Street as we have done in previous Tea Party events and waved signs.  I’ll have some photos of those coming up later.

After the sign-waving, at 1:00 pm Citizens for Liberty sponsored a Town Hall and Recess Rally to discuss government health care.

The event was very well attended and there were lots of good questions from the audience.  I have pictures and video that will be published as soon as I can edit, process and upload all of it.

So stay tuned and check back often.  It takes a lot of time to upload videos online, so it will be well into next week (if not later) before all of it is made available, but I got every question and answer on video, along with every major portion of today’s event.

In the meantime, enjoy the slideshow below of Citizens for Liberty’s parade float.
