Florida is looking to become the latest state to tell the federal government to butt-out of health care. Several states have moved to re-assert their Tenth Amendment rights and powers in the past eight months, with more doing so all the time. The days of socialist trampling of our Constitution may be numbered.
Once again a Washington socialist has wandered into contact with the public and found that not everyone is happy to see their way of life threatened and their Constitution sold out. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) found out that some Americans know a liar when they hear one.
Liberal politicians who don’t want to be held accountable for their assaults on freedom are labeling the protests of the American people as “dangerous.” Perhaps this outrage against massive waste, government health care and other assaults on the Constitution really are dangerous–dangerous to their re-election hopes.
What would it look like if you moved from the United States to Mexico and expected the same treatment Mexican immigrants–legal and illegal–demand here?
In an enlightening guest commentary from Iowahawk, we find that Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA) and Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services are concerned at the disobedient and ungrateful behavior they witnessed at a recent town hall meeting on government health care. It just goes to show how out of touch some voters really are with what’s good for them.
Another visual illustration of why government health care is a horrible idea, this time with a government takeover of the restaurant business. Are you a gourmet? Better lower your expectations. Hungry? Better learn to cool your heels.
A great illustration of why government health care is a bad, bad idea…and why even proponents of this bad idea don’t understand the deadly consequences that are at stake.
President Obama’s government health care plan calls for euthanasia under “Advance Care Planning” provisions of the bill. Liberals in Washington expect old people to just “take a pill” and die to get out of the way. Is that okay for grandma? Is that okay for you?
