Vegan versus Carnivore

The telling argument whether someone is really a vegan is obvious. True vegans believe that all animals have rights and should not be consumed or used in any way to assist in mans' survival. If a vegan family crashes in the arctic tundra where no vegetables, fruits are available and they come across a dying animal, would the father let his daughter,sons and family perish. I would guess the incidence of people who claim to be vegans ( about .25% of the population ) would drop to ....say.....zero. I know this isn't the jest of this site, but want to reveal them for what they are......hypocrites ( or just loonies which I suspect is more the case ). Tekes all kinds though, i guess.
