New Peer-Reviewed Study Finds Natural Causes for 20th Century Global Warming

Several media outlets including the Washington Examiner and New Zealand’s Stuff are reporting on a two-year peer-reviewed study by Australasian scientists published in the American Geophysical Union’s Journal of Geophysical Research which finds little or none of late-Twentieth Century planetary warming can be attributed to human activity.
Though scientists Chris de Freitas, Bob Carter, and John McLean have no doubt been added to Al Gore’s rather HUGE list of “deniers,” these researchers say that temperature changes are in in close agreement with El Nino or La Nina conditions, otherwise known as the Southern Oscillation.
From the Washington Examiner:
“The surge in global temperatures since 1977 can be attributed to a 1976 climate shift in the Pacific Ocean that made warming El Niño conditions more likely than they were over the previous 30 years and cooling La Niña conditions less likely” de Freitas said.
“We have shown that internal global climate-system variability accounts for at least 80% of the observed global climate variation over the past half-century. It may even be more if the period of influence of major volcanoes can be more clearly identified and the corresponding data excluded from the analysis,” he added.
Though the U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a devastating cap and trade global warming tax on the American people, the evidence that anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is a bunch of hot air is becoming truly mountainous.
From the natural cyclic climate change data going back thousands of years, to solar activity, to global warming on other planets, to unreliable data, the case for natural warming and against AGW is overwhelming for anyone who isn’t religiously or ideologically invested in maintaining faith in this discredited theory.
It’s time for the free people of America to hold the dictators in Washington accountable, and demand that they pull the plug on the cap and trade global warming tax before it gets passed in the Senate. It’s also time for the free people of America to remember this in the next election and give those who voted for it their walking papers. They have demonstrated egregious hostility toward the freedom, property and well being of the American people.
