How’s That Change Working Out For You?

When people clamor for change, they usually mean “change for the better.”

Obama voters: How’s that hope and change you voted for working out?

For us freedom-loving Americans,  your “change” is working out about like we figured…

For me, the hope and change I voted for is coming slower that I would like. But I understand that the President has a lot on his plate and can't move very fast on a lot of these issues (especially with obstructionist Republicans in Congress). One of the areas I've been disappointed about is how slow it's taking them to change the current bigotted policies like Don't Ask Don't Tell and DOMA. My guess is the President wants to save his political capitol for issues like health care and climate change.

But even though the change is happening too slow for me, I thank God that America elected President Obama because he's a much better president than any conservative would be.
  • I, and most conservatives, would not want to change a word of the Constitution in its original form and intent. Can you say the same? Can The One from Kenya?
  • Yes, he's a much better president than any conservative could be...if the goal is to trash the Constitution and make the United States yet another Marxist disaster area.

Conservatives are able to trash the Constitution pretty good by themselves.
  • Conservatives are the only guardians of the Constitution remaining today. We respect it and insist it be followed as the measure by which all other laws stand and fall. You will find that conservative principles virtually by definition line up with the Constitution...by design. Unlike liberals, we love our country the way it was set up, and do not want to see our great nation turned into a socialist state where the individual and the free market are subservient to an all-powerful state; the Constitution specifically forbids this.
