Govt Health Care to Send Vaccination Squad to Your House
Are you about completely fed up with the federal government peering over your shoulder, meddling in everything you do, telling you what you can and can’t do, how you should live your life?
I don’t know about you (especially if you’re an Obama voter), but I am totally fed up with government busy-bodies and elitists telling me how to live my life.
But apparently those much smarter and better than I am in Washington D.C. think I need still more help in figuring out my situation and where I should be.
According to CNS News, a part of this massive, intrusive health care plan the government wants to tax me for and inflict on me would involve “interventions” at my home to make sure my children are properly immunized, etc.
“Excuse me, ma’am,” says the man. “Our records show that your eleven-year-old daughter has not been immunized for genital warts.”
“And your four-year-old still needs the chicken-pox vaccine,” says the woman.
“He will not be allowed to start kindergarten unless he gets that shot, you know,” says the man—smiling from ear to ear.
“So, can we please come in?” asks the woman. “We have the vaccines right here,” she says, lifting up a black medical bag. “We can give your kids the shots right now.”
“We are from the government,” says the man, “and we’re here to help.”
Sorry, but they’ll be instructed to leave my property real quick…and they’d better not be back without a warrant and law enforcement to back it up.
The article points to a 2-page “summary” (that ought to give you a sense of foreboding right there) from the Senate’s Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee which says the socialists in Washington are going to tax me so they can send government meddlers and thugs to my door to harass me about health care.
I know the government doesn’t believe it, but my wife and I are more than smart enough to figure out whether my children need to be immunized and what they need to be immunized for. We are teaching our children strong moral values and responsibility, so we see no need to issue them what they would undoubtedly interpret as a “free pass” for sexual promiscuity with an HPV vaccination…at taxpayer expense.
Ladies and gentlemen, the evidence is overwhelming that responsible, intelligent people don’t need a government health care system. And a free people–as every American is born to be–darn sure doesn’t need his property confiscated to pay for an overweening, inept bureaucracy like socialized medicine. Those of us who have lived in socialist countries for a while know it better than anyone.
If you’re a patriotic American who wants to be respected by your own government and who enjoys being free, call and write your elected representatives. Think about joining one of the Health Care Freedom Tea Parties which will be going on in hundreds of cities across America tomorrow.
Americans, we must stop this monstrosity now…for the sake of fiscal responsibility, for the sake of efficiency, for the sake of freedom.
