Democrats Refuse to Stand for Pledge of Allegiance

This is despicable.

These are a group of Democrats from the New York State Senate.  According to ProLifeBlogs,  this video is from WCBS-2 TV on June 23 during a special session called by Democrat Governor David Paterson in attempt to end a childish three-week walkout by Democrats which has ground government to a halt.

Even when the Democrats showed up at this meeting, they continued to act childishly in refusing to acknowledge when their names were called at roll call, and wouldn’t even join in the opening prayer.

Their childishness continued into the scene you are about to see in the video below where they also refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Notice that even when Senator Martin Dilan of Brooklyn (apparently the only one among them with an impulse for what is right) tries to stand, Senators Kevin Parker and Ruth Hassell-Thompson yanked him down.

This is truly pathetic, that Democrats would put petty displays of childishness ahead of the opening prayer, and even over the pledge of allegiance to the flag of our great nation.

But then, I suppose this is really only a visual display of what too many Democrats have been doing for too long anyway: putting their petty political goals ahead of respect and appreciation for their country…or God.
