Dakota Voice Week in Review, Ending July 11, 2009

binocularsThese are the best of the best from Dakota Voice last week. You made them the best with your high number of visits and comments.

If you missed one the first time around, or just want time to read them over and think them over again in the quiet of your Sunday, now is your chance.

Obama Can’t Even Acknowledge US Won Cold War – President Obama loathes his own country so much, he can’t even bring himself to acknowledge that the strength and determination of the United States won the Cold War against the Soviets. He would rather apologize for America than praise it.

SD Family Policy Council Hitting Hate Crimes Head On – The House has already passed “hate crime” legislation and the Senate is now considering it. This legislation constitutes a tremendous threat to religious freedom and other liberties. It does nothing to further protect any group–including homosexuals–and does nothing to improve the administration of justice. The SD Family Policy Council will be holding press conferences to inform the media and the public on this important issue.

Al Gore Watches Temps and Credibility Drop Since ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ – Since Al Gore published his propaganda piece “An Inconvenient Truth,” we have watched global temperatures drop…along with Gore’s credibility. All the most compelling evidence points toward natural and cyclic causes of global warming. No wonder Ohio and other states are telling the federal government when it comes to Washington’s cap and trade global warming tax, they aren’t playing.

Study: Childhood Sexual Abuse Often a Factor in Sexual Disorientation – Research from multiple sources finds a very high correlation between childhood sexual trauma and adult homosexual behavior, in both men and women. This sexual disorientation from normal heterosexuality, like any disorientation, can either be embraced or corrected, depending on the will of the one disoriented.

How’s That Change Working Out For You?
– When people clamor for change, they usually mean “change for the better.”Obama voters: How’s that hope and change you voted for working out? For us freedom-loving Americans,  your “change” is working out about like we figured…

Beyond the Smokescreen: Helping Homosexuals Change – Though homosexual activists and apologists have for some time claimed that homosexuals cannot change and that reorientation therapy is actually harmful, an epic study of restorative therapy for homosexuals indicates otherwise. Even the APA is backing off of claims of biological or genetic causes of homosexuality. There is no reason not to extend help to homosexuals who want to change.

1984 on the Horizon: Congress Moves to Regulate Thought Crime – Liberals in congress are making the latest attempt to bring back the “Fairness Doctrine,” but this time under another name. This measure, HR 1966, would punish any electronic communication that someone says intimidates or causes emotional distress. It can be easily used to silence dissent on the homosexual agenda, or pretty much anything Leftists want to protect.

DNA: Compelling Evidence of Intelligent Design - Terrence Jeffrey interviewed Dr. Stephen C. Meyer recently regarding his new book “Signature in the Cell.” He discusses the stunning evidence of design in DNA, intellectual hypocrisy in the scientific community, and even touches on the implications the Marxist/Darwinist worldview has for American institutions.

Obama Worshippers Offended by Criticism of The Apology Tour - President Obama’s worshippers are upset that a clip from Fox News was edited, leaving out Obama’s grudging acknowledgement that America had a “tradition” of trying to “lift the Iron Curtain.” The edit changes nothing. Obama’s had to be dragged by the interviewer to make the admission, and his referenced speech in Russia completely omitted America’s decisive leadership in the Soviet defeat.

Homosexual Agenda Illustrates: There Can Be No Compromise With Evil – Dr. Scott Lively illustrates in his new booklet “Redeeming the Rainbow” that there can be no compromise with evil, and there can be no middle ground against the homosexual agenda. The apostles of “tolerance” will accept nothing short of the total surrender to the homosexual agenda.

Thank you, faithful reader, for making these the best of the best!
