Would you know the passion and commitment of the men who founded the United States of America?
The video below is a clip from the John Adams miniseries which came out several months back (if you have not seen it, you definitely should).
In the clip, Adams makes a passionate statement for freedom and independence to the Continental Congress before the vote on independence was taken. How can his words fail to stir the hearts of any true American?
The clip also contains a partial reading to the public of the newly adopted Declaration of Independence.
What an awesome thing they began in July 1776. What an awesome thing God wrought on this continent and to the world!
