New Tea Party Anthem: We the People
Leading up to the Tax Day Tea Party, a wonderful singer and patriot named Lloyd Marcus introduced an upbeat, catchy tune that expressed the thoughts and sentiments of millions of other patriots who were outraged to see their government and Constitution slip away from them.
The American Tea Party Anthem was great for it’s time on April 15. But now, with the Independence Day Tea Parties coming up fast on our nation’s 233rd birthday, Marcus felt moved to produce a new anthem.
The new “We the People” below is more solemn, befitting the occasion of celebration of the birth of our great nation. It is a beautiful tribute to the greatness of America, and the great blessings of liberty, endowed by our Creator, that we enjoy here.
Marcus says of his song:
In my new Tea Party unity song, “We The People”, I humbly try to be your voice. I thought, what if every patriot joined and sang together. What would it sound like and what would we say? Brothers and sisters, from my heart to yours, I give you, “WE THE PEOPLE”.
The lyrics begin:
We the people
Of the United States of America
Stand for the rights of the individualEndowed by our Creator
His great gift to you and me
The birthright of every citizen
From sea to shining sea…
