The Speaker should know when not to
Another press conference, another version of events from Madame Pelosi. After saying earlier that she had been briefed by the CIA but had not been told that particular enhanced interrogation techniques like waterboarding were in use, this time she denied being briefed at all saying others were but she wasn’t.
John Curl at The Washington Post gives us this exchange:
“So were you,” the reporter said.
“No, I wasn’t informed. I was informed that a briefing had taken place,” the speaker said.
Another reporter asked if she should have done more once she knew — whenever that was.
“No, no, no, no, no,” she said. “it does not make me complicit, no.”
After the fourth question, Mrs. Pelosi’s spokesman, Nadeam Alshami, called out, “Last question!”
Fancy Nancy is about to melt into a nasty stain on the carpet, much like the Wicked Witch of the West. It is alarming that someone so ignorant, so arrogant and so narcissistic could come into such power. If she had an IQ above 90 she could really be dangerous.
