Press Corps Treats Presidents Bush, Obama Differently

2009-05-02-143548This is an enlightening comparison and contrast between the way the White House press treated President George W. Bush and the way they treat President Barack Obama.

The first segment is of President Bush entering the briefing room on February 28, 2008, and the second is of President Obama entering the briefing room on May 1, 2009.

Note the difference.  Remarkable, eh?

At least they didn’t bow and scrape when Obama entered the room…unlike some people we know.

I couldn't get the video to work, so I don't know what your message is.

But what we have to remember about the press and Bush is that when Bush lied about the connection between the al Qaada attack and Iraq, the press provided an amen corner.

People like Hans Blix and Scott Ritter who knew the situation on the ground in Iraq were not covered while people like Dick Cheney who simply makes things up/
  • Sorry about that. Apparently the uploader of the video disabled embedding. I found another copy and replaced it, so try it now.

I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me specifically how President Bush "lied" about the things you allege, and why you think that warrants a different public display of respect for the president of the United States. And by the way, I'm not interested in propaganda you picked up from some Leftist America-hating website; I want to know specifically how President Bush supposedly "lied."

Why don't you try the video above again, then read some real information about Iraq and terrorism at the link I'm about to post, then come back and tell me about these supposed "lies": http://www.dakotavoice.com/2008/07/milestones-o...
