GOP Taking Advice from the Enemy

If the Republican Party wants to fire up the base and win big again like John McCain did (and win big like the GOP did in congress in 2006 and 2008), then they should just keep on listening to advice from liberals.

  • Conservatism emanates from a world view based on Judeo-Christian values. Not all conservatives are Christian or Jewish by any means, but we all share certain fundamental values. These values are not up for negotiation and compromise. Conservative do not measure the polls and test the winds to decide what political beliefs to advocate. It would be a terrible mistake for the Republican Party to start now to adapt to what others tell them they must do. As we've seen over and over, conservatism is a winning position in most elections. Just look at what happened in '06 and '08. To interpret Republican losses as a shift to the left of the electorate is short-sighted and inaccurate.
