Sec of State Laughs Over Piracy Against Americans

Burning of the Frigate Philadelphia in the Harbor of Tripoli, 1804
As I’ve said before, love of America and protecting Americans is just a big joke to liberals.
Check out Secretary of State (the United States’ chief ambassador and representative of our interests to the world) laughing and yucking it up…even as she talks about the 21 American citizens in harm’s way because of Somali pirates
“Specifically we are now focused on this particular act of piracy and the seizure of the ship that carries 21 American citizens. More generally we think the world must come together and end the scourge of piracy. I think Morocco was the very first country that recognized us, going back a long time. We worked to end piracy off the coast of Morocco all those years ago. And we are going to work together to end that kind of criminal activity anywhere on the high seas.”
I don’t see anything funny going on during this statement, or anything funny about this statement.
CNN (the Clinton News Network) of course, thinks she is “‘deeply concerned‘ about pirate attacks.” If this is “deep concern,” I’d hate to see the moderate concern of one of the highest officials in the United States government. Secretary Clinton is, incidentally, fourth in the line of presidential succession.
How did President Thomas Jefferson react to piracy off the coast of Africa? Well, you’ll find reference to it in the Marine Corps anthem and “the shores of Tripoli.”
Will the current administration take the fight to America’s enemies…or simply consider them “misunderstood persons” or “neighbors with a beef” so that we don’t seem to “arrogant“?
Considering how funny a top Obama Administration official considers the whole thing, I fear we may already have our answer…
