Remembering Terri Schiavo: Four Years Later
Four years ago, a judge in Florida ordered the starvation and dehydration of Terri Schiavo, a woman who was disabled.
He did so at the behest of her “husband” who had been living with another woman for several years and producing children by this other woman.
Though there are several videos showing Terri Schiavo laughing, trying to talk, smiling, and following a moving object with her eyes, she was killed because she was said to be in a Persistent Vegetative State (PVS), and it was claimed that she was essentially brain-dead. The videos very clearly prove that this contention was a complete lie.
It is important that Terri Schiavo not be forgotten–not for the injustice done to her and her family, and not for those who may be killed by the courts in the future because someone considers their life to be “inconvenient.”
