National Tax Day Tea Party Map

screengrab249Michelle Malkin points our attention to a FreedomWorks project which has listed all the Tax Day Tea Parties nationwide on Google Maps.

Here you can find a map of all the Tea Parties scheduled for April 15 along with time and location information.

Actually, this map almost certainly doesn’t show all the Tea Parties planned for April 15.  We are planning one in Rapid City (though I don’t think the information has filtered its way up to the national Tea Party organization yet), along with Spearfish, Tea and Yankton.

It’s pretty impressive to see the rising tide of patriot discontent with the derailment of responsible and Constitutional government in Washington D.C.

It’s time our elected “representatives” in Washington learned to respect the United States Constitution…and the people they were ostensibly elected to represent.

It’s time for patriots to defend their country, their Constitution, their legacy, their freedoms of all kinds (speech, religious, gun ownership, property rights, etc.).  We want to preserve these precious gifts, and we want to pass this heritage on to our children and grandchildren.

Join other patriots across the country as we send that message loud and clear to Washington D.C.

    This is the struggle in which the future of the human race is determined and this may be the day on which that future balances. Socialism is nothing more than monarchy with an elected king. The paternalistic structures and goals of government are the same.

    In the American Constitution humanity took its first courageous step out from under the relationship in which the people were like children, guided, protected and too often abused by their parent-like rulers. In France and later throughout Europe the International Democratic Revolution took a different turn. As they overthrew their rulers they faltered. They wanted the freedom to act like adults, but without surrendering the security of still having their parental rulers to catch them if they fell.

    Now the most timid among us would drag us back under the protective wing of parental rule and with it make us victims of the lower instincts of those who would be our masters. Either we will step forward and pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor to preserve and spread the cause of freedom, or we will fail to do so and doom ourselves and those yet to be born to a world in which we have only such freedoms as our rulers choose to grant us. Either humanity will continue to evolve into the maturity of individual self governance and responsibility, or we will fall back into the child-like state in which others ensure and so control our destinies.

    This is the moment to stand for something better. Do not let it pass you by.
  • What are the details of your events?
  • Some are still being worked out (hopefully will know more after the meeting tomorrow), but it will be from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm on April 15. We're working on locking in a location (permits, etc.) but should be somewhere fairly central in Rapid City, and we plan a number of good speakers from the area.
