Intolerance of the Tolerant: Predictable as Sunrise

Homosexual activists have made a big show in recent years of demanding “tolerance” for their immoral and unhealthy sexual practices.

Ironically, the tolerance they demand from society isn’t something they find easy to return.  In fact, many show considerably more contempt for morality, normalcy and health than the average American ever dreams of showing toward homosexual behavior.

After California voted to pass Proposition 8, which overruled the judicial activists who disregarded California law and told homosexuals they could call their unions “marriage,” many “tolerant” homosexual activists displayed their “tolerance” by ripping a sign out of an old lady’s hands, screaming at Christians, displaying lewd behavior toward Christians, disrupting church services with profanity and thrown condoms, burning a holy book on a church doorstep, and calling black people (who voted for Proposition 8 in large numbers) “niggers.”

The latest example was seen in the Miss USA when Perez Hilton, one of the judges, asked Miss California USA Carrie Prejean whether other states should do as Vermont and allow homosexual “marriage.”

Sticking with her principles and declining to take the politically correct coward’s way out, she said, ”In my family, I … believe marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”

For that, Hilton berated her with a profane video rant on his blog (see video below).  How wonderfully tolerant of him, eh?

According to CitizenLink,  Donald Trump, co-owner of the pageant, said her answer “probably did cost her the crown.” She ended up the first runner-up to Miss North Carolina.

She did the right thing and took the high road, which carries it’s own rewards (sometimes eternal), but still, it’s a sad day in America when a person is penalized for doing the moral thing. 

It’s also pretty sad that a homosexual activist can’t even serve as a judge in a Miss USA pageant without bringing up sexual behavior and pushing his ideology.

Homosexual activists are getting careless and revealing more of what their agenda is really about…and it has little to do with real tolerance.

    no ellis she did the wrong thing. she accented her belief, which causes division, instead of making a unifying statement that all could have identified with in the country she would have repesented if she had won.

  • You are right, Carrie. I suspect that Miss Prejean had previously said something to someone about her beliefs and that information was passed on to Perez Hilton. I believe this was an ambush, planned and executed by Mr. Hilton with the help, or at least aquiesence, of the MAP organizers. It is a shameful demonstration of homosexual intolerance and their desire to politicize everything. Henceforth, the Miss America Pageant will be thought of as just a sham based only on politically correct, i.e., Leftist ideology.

  • GOod point, DCM. When arguments are flawed and irrational, it is hard to argue against the truth. Deception, lies and subterfuge become the tools of the trade for those who have no respect for the truth.

    Dr. Theo, as you and I well know, there was a time that it wasn't polite to discuss "sex" topics in mixed company. Now, we have those who insist our pre-schoolers "will" be exposed to issues related to sexual orientation. Babies can't even escape this obsession the activists have with sex, so I guess we shouldn't wonder that the obsession would reach out and taint a beauty pageant.

    If division is a problem for you, then blame the homosexual activists such as Perez who are trying (in vain) to go against God, thousands of years of established practice, and 97.1% of humanity which recognizes that men and women go together sexually.

    ]Homosexual activists are divisive, so if divisiveness is a major problem with you, then perhaps you should advocate that homosexual activists knock it off and adjust to reality.

    Gee, you don't read THAT in most papers. Not "politically correct," so it might just as well not have happened.

    I'm not going to defend Perez Hilton, who is a publicity-hound.

    That said, part of the problem is people like you's profound misunderstanding of fairness. With comments like this:

    Whose morality? Whose normalcy and "health"? Sounds like some Fascist state propaganda.
  • You can consider normalcy--nature itself--"facsist" if you want, but it just shows how infantile your outlook is. You want what you want, and you demand it in defiance of the obvious intended function for our bodies. You want what you want, and you demand it in defiance of what your Creator intended for you.

    You can go on living your life as if you were somehow going to successfully defy God, as if you were somehow going to successfully change human biology and function, as if you were somehow going to successfully alter reality itself...but a mature, healthy human being would get with the program and live as nature, science, biology and morality indicate that you should.

    The choice is yours, as are the rewards of making the right decision, and the innate penalties of making the wrong one.

    Apparently those homosexual activists are only tolerant to those sympathetic to their belief. They 'll turn into rage and hatred if someone else has a different view.
