Physicist Lists Evidence that Global Temp Change is Natural
Icecap features an informative paper by Dr. Gerhard Löbert which is a “brief” 4-page summary of arguments which show that climate change is driven by solar activity, not those wicked SUVs and coal-fired power plants.
Dr. Löbert, a physicist and recipient of The Needle of Honor of German Aeronautics, talks about glaciological and tree ring evidence which shows repeated cycles of warming and cooling over several thousand years. He also says that in the last 10,000 years the mean temperature was higher than today for 2/3 of the time.
He also debunks the myth that CO2 drives temperature, and exposes some of the weaknesses of climate change models used to promote the Religion of Anthropogenic Global Warming.
Dr. Löbert also says factors such as planetary rotational velocity, interplanetary magnetic field strength, cosmic radiation intensity, and cloud cover affect planetary temperature. Imagine that! Who would have thought the sun and these other factors might have any effect on global temperature?
There is already a substantial body of evidence which throws cold water on the socialist contention that evil capitalistic human activity is warming the planet. This includes the unreliable nature of some temperature data, other natural sources of greenhouse gasses, and global warming happening on other planets such as Mars and Jupiter (where there are no capitalists).
Despite Al Gore’s snow job that this is “settled science,” tens of thousands of scientists just aren’t worshipping at Gore’s temple. And fewer people people are buying this all the time; global warming came in dead-last in a recent 20-issue list of concerns.
I have to chuckle when Gore, Barack Obama and other socialists use the word “science’ in connection with this subject. For in all the hot air coming across from the “mainstream” media, there is about 5% science and 95% conjecture and hysteria.
The emperor’s clothes are getting pretty thin, and in 10 or 20 years, society may just look back on the current era and marvel at how one of the biggest hoaxes in human history ever received any credence at all.
