The American Form of Government

The ignorance of many Americans as to the form of government we have–and should continue to have, under the Constitution–seems to be growing by leaps and bounds.

If someone had set out to deliberately lead the American people into ignorance, they could not have done a better job than the state we see today.

Most people have heard of various types of government: monarchy, republic, democracy, totalitarianism, anarchy, etc.

What form of government do we have in the United States?  And what difference does it make?
