Tea Parties in Orlando Florida and Raleigh North Carolina Today

There were at least a couple of Tea Parties today, in protest of the irresponsibility and “crappy representation” coming out of Washington D.C. these days.

As I mentioned earlier, there was a big one in Orlando, Florida today.  You can find pics at Newsbusters and Pious Agnostic;  the latter has quite a gallery.

There was also one in Raleigh, North Carolina today.  They have quite a few pics on their Facebook site, and Instapundit has one.

The “mainstream” media–in their infinite objectivity and drive to keep the people informed–are trying very hard to ignore this massive uprising of patriotism sweeping the country.  But sooner or later, it will be too big for them to sweep under the rug any longer.

That day might even come before the hundreds of Tax Day Tea Parties scheduled across the country for April 15.

We’ve allowed our elected “representatives” to ignore the U.S. Constitution for far, far too long!  We’ve allowed these people in Washington D.C. to waste our hard-earned dollars for far, far too long!  We’ve allowed these thieves in suit-and-tie we call “congressmen” to steal our property and give it to someone else without our consent for far, far too long!  We’ve allowed a vocal minority of anti-American Leftists to bash and trash the history and heritage of our great nation for far, far too long.

It’s time to set our nation back on the path laid by the wise Founders over 200 years ago. We have inherited a legacy of freedom paid for with the sweat and blood of generations before us, and we have an obligation to do what it takes to ensure that legacy is not squandered, so we can pass it on to the next generation of Americans.

I can’t wait for the ones in Sioux Falls and Rapid City on April 15!
