South Dakota Joins National Tea Party Movement

Thanks to a good patriot here in Rapid City, I just learned that South Dakota has joined the national Tax Day Tea Party movement.
Here is the information on a Tea Party in Sioux Falls scheduled for April 15 when over 100 Tea Parties will be going on across the country. They also have a Facebook page.

Where: TERRACE PARK – Covell Lake, Sioux Falls, SD
Why? To Protest Political Pork Barrel Spending and Government Waste. See an re-enactment of the Boston Tea Party – The spark that ignited the Revolutionary War.

If anyone knows of a Tax Day Tea Party being organized West River–or anywhere else in the state of South Dakota–please let me know.
The Tax Day Tea Parties, as have a number of tea parties already happening, were organized to protest the fiscal irresponsibility of the federal government as demonstrated in the massive expansion of government known as the stimulus (or porkulus) bill.
As our colonial forefathers protested taxation without representation, many today see a need to protest taxation with lousy/crappy/neglegent representation.
Through the power of incumbency, deception, an ignorant electorate–or a mix thereof–most of those representing the American people cast votes which demonstrate utter contempt for the U.S. Constitution and the American way of life.
We may be stuck with the current cast of subversives for at least two more years, but we owe it to both our ancestors and our posterity to take a stand for freedom, liberty and Constitutional government.
