President Obama Graduates from Teleprompter to Big TV
It seems President Barack Obama is ready to dis his teleprompter budy, finding a new love in a big screen TV at the back of the White House press room.
The president is apparently getting touchy after all the coverage of his extreme reliance on his teleprompter any time he needs to say anything (I wonder if he uses one to whisper sweet nothings to Michelle), and a few embarrassing gaffes with his teleprompter.
In fact, after the recent incident with the Irish prime minister being fed the wrong speech on the teleprompter, Obama’s Teleprompter was left with no choice but to start its own blog to defend itself.
Obama’s teleprompter claims it is overworked and while it even helps the president ad lib sometimes, it can’t do everything.
It is possible that Obama’s switch to the big screen TV is a show of sympathy for his overworked teleprompter. However, I cannot foresee any outcome other than a very hurt and angry teleprompter.
If the president ever goes back to using the teleprompter again, he could be in for some unpleasant surprises. What they say about a woman spurned may also hold true for teleprompters…
