More on Upcoming Sioux Falls Tax Day Tea Party

2009-03-16-213533Below is video from the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and the display announcing the upcoming Tax Day Tea Party in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls has joined with about 115 other cities across the United States in scheduling a Tea Party protest for April 15.  The protest is to send a message to Washington D.C. about the dissatisfaction of the average, hard-working, producing American with the massive waste, financial irresponsibility and expansion of government we have seen recently.

The Sioux Falls event will be on April 15 from 12:00-1:30 pm at Terrace Park at Covell Lake.  You can find more information here and here.

I am also hearing distinct and unmistakable rumblings of a Tea Party coming in Rapid City.  Hopefully details will be available soon!

hey everyone-- get ready for the Tea Party with shirts and gear from www.shirts4freedom.com
  • Bob,

FYI, I don't know where Coval Lake is, but in Sioux Falls there is a "Covell Lake". If you are going to promote something, please check to make sure the spelling of the location is correct. Being lazy in this area does not bode well for our cause.
  • I don't live in Sioux Falls, so I don't know the lake either. But I copied it from the Tea Party website, so maybe you need to address your angst to them.

Maybe you should go ahead and to go Coval Lake anyway; they might not want hostile, nit-picking smart allecks at the Covell Lake gathering.
