Meeting Set for Rapid City Tea Party

tea-bagAn organizational meeting for the Rapid City Tax Day Tea Party will be held Friday March 27 at 11:45 am at Godfather’s Pizza on Campbell Street.

Rapid City is joining fellow South Dakota city Sioux Falls and hundreds of other cities around the country to state a protest on April 15 against the massive irresponsibility coming out of Washington D.C.

Over the past month or so, many cities across the nation have already held tea party protests reminiscent of the Boston Tea Party thrown by our revolutionary patriot forefathers.  Those cities which have already held tea parties include Orlando, Washington D.C., New York City, St. Louis, Raleigh, Ridgefield, Los Angeles, Green Bay, Cincinnati, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

There has already been tremendous interest brewing in Rapid City for a local tea party, and I think we’re in for a great event.  South Dakota Dist. 35 Senator Gordon Howie is heading up the effort, I’ll be doing what I can to help him and other organizers, and lots of good ideas are already being kicked around.

Hope to see you at the meeting Friday as we ready the effort to take our free country back from the socialists and restore America to greatness and strength!

I'm looking forward to this. See you there. Let's package all of the Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac Mortgage Backed Securities (you know, the ones that tanked the World Financial Industry thanks to Bawny Fwank and Chris Dodd. They're easy to get. Everyone's IRA and retirement portfolio has some.) and load them in boxes marked "TEA." Then toss them into Canyon Lake.
No, wait, that would cause the lake to overflow. It could create a sub-prime tea dam and make Rapid Creek flood and potentially cause more economic damage to Rapid City than the '72 flood. But, that's already going to happen.
