American Tea Party Anthem

2009-03-21-145918Florida entertainer Lloyd Marcus has come up with a great anthem for the tea parties going on across the country.

In fact, he’s scheduled to perform this song (see video below) at the Orlando Tea Party today (see the second video below).

Now we’re not advocating violence
That’s what the so-called peace crowd do
We’re talkin’ peaceful protest to defend the red, white and blue

We gotta vote out these clowns who don’t love the USA
Who stay up late loosing sleep fearing what the French might say

We’re havin’ a tea party across this land
If you love this country
Come on and join our band
We’re standin’ up for freedom and liberty
Cause patriots have shown us freedom ain’t free

Yeah!

Hundreds of Tax Day Tea Parties are scheduled for April 15, including Sioux Falls and Rapid City here in South Dakota.

    I live in Orlando but my heart is in the Black Hills. I attended the Orlando Tea Party. There were more than 4,000 in attendance probably more like 5 or 6 thousand.
    This is a true movement and we are counting on our brothers and sisters accross our beautiful land to get involved. It is now apparent that by change Obama meant nationalizing banks, higher taxes for all (once inflation sets in after all of the market is flooded with his money printing), closing the free market, forcing entitlement programs that we can not afford, and a foreign diplomacy that courts those intent on destroyng us (Iran, N. Korea, Venezuela, the Kremlin) and subjects a friend and ally, Israel, to contstant rocket strikes, expecting them to simply take it. This is not the CHANGE I WISH FOR OUR CHILDREN!

    Those numbers in Orlando sound GREAT!

    I talked with several people today who are very jazzed about the tea party being planned for Rapid City. We're smaller than Orlando and more spread out, but we hope to do our part in the movement to send this much-needed message to Washington!

    The time for words is OVER. We as tax payers, business owners, the military & the hard working class are fed up with being used. The people in the goverment state & feds NEED to leave office now we all can help them out the door.
