No Stimulus Petition Spreading Like Wildfire

sellingfreedomAmericans for Prosperity is raising the baloney flag on the porkulus “stimulus” bill Congress is trying to ramrod down the American people’s throats.

Americans for Prosperity has started a “no stimulus petition” that tens of thousands of people have signed opposing this massively wasteful bill.

Founder Tim Phillips was on Fox News to talk about the petition and said AFP expected the signatures to go over 100,000 today.

It’s not as if there aren’t better ideas out there, either.  Congressman Walt Minnick (D-ID) has proposed a simulus plan that cuts out all the garbage that doesn’t create jobs…and it’s about 80% smaller than the porker being pushed by President Obama and congressional leadership.

“I’ve cut out everything that doesn’t create jobs in this year and next. It’s only $174 billion, $650 billion less than what the House passed and probably $750 billion less than the trillion dollar bill the Senate is talking about.”

For once here’s a Democrat plan I think I could get behind.  Unfortunately most Democrats in Washington–and a few Republicans–just want to pump up the bloated government even bigger and bribe taxpayers yet again with their own money.

So many people are knocking George Bush for running up a deficit, yet they have n o qualms about adding trillions to burden future generations with a "stimulus" bill loaded with pork and junk.
I'm beginning to fear that we will someday soon be living in a Dictatorship of sorts. Move Census Bureau back to Commerce!!!!
