British Government Hostile to Parental Supervision
I’m guessing that some in the British government believe their teen pregnancy rate isn’t high enough, and that it must be made higher. Since the Independent has reported that Great Britain has the highest teen pregnancy rate in Europe, I’m not sure who they’re trying to out-do, but with the anti-parenting attitude coming out of the British government, what else are we to think?

PARENTS should avoid trying to convince their teenage children of the difference between right and wrong when talking to them about sex, a new government leaflet is to advise.
Instead, any discussion of values should be kept “light” to encourage teenagers to form their own views, according to the brochure, which one critic has called “amoral”.
The best way to reduce or prevent a negative behavior is to teach children that the behavior in question is immoral.
Yet now the British government wants parents to abdicate their responsibility to instill moral values in their children.
In 2007 it was reported that a British medical panel recommended doctors be able to treat children–including abortion counseling–without the involvement of their parents.
A report earlier this month found that children in Britain are being devastated by a “selfish generation” of adults who are more interested in their own fulfillment than the welfare of their children.
Perhaps parents are taking the advice of their government and butting out–and tuning out–of their children’s lives.
It seems socialist societies like Britain–and like the U.S. is rapidly becoming–treat children as the unpleasant byproduct of what sometimes unfortunately results from sexual freedom. Like the mess you’re left with after a party, children are sometimes the mess people are left with after enjoying sexual license.
Government in socialist countries also see these “messy byproducts” commonly referred to as “children” as their property, not the responsibility of their parents.
Government often demands complete access to and control over the development of these children. Government demands the children be put into government daycare and “preschool” institutions shortly after birth, and wants to keep them in the government pipeline through high school or beyond.
And apparently any attempts parents may want to make to instill the government’s children with moral values are unwelcome.
The way the Labor Party–like the Democrat Party in the United States–has declared war on moral values, one has to wonder if for some unseen reason they are actively pursuing the total destruction of their civilization.
