White House Filling With Socialists

globalwarmingearthburning31We knew before Barack Obama was elected that he liked socialists and socialism, so the latest news out of the Washington Times should come as no surprise.

Unless we had our heads buried in the sand (which many Obama voters actually did), we know that Obama has worked with unrepentant Marxist terrorist Bill Ayers.  Obama and Ayers  worked together on the Annenberg Challenge, the Woods Foundation, a juvenile justice panel, and Ayers helped launch Obama’s political career with a meet-and-greet in his living room.

Obama himself has a rather low regard for the foundations of the United States, including the U.S. Constitution.   In fact, Obama believes the limits the founders put on the federal government to protect our freedoms are “tragic.”  They hinder his socialist goals of a Marxist utopia where wealth is redistributed unfettered.

So it should come as no surprise that has picked a dyed-in-the-wool socialist to be his “global warming czar.”

According to the Washington Times, Carol M. Browner

was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for “global governance” and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner’s name and biography had been removed from Socialist International’s Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group’s congress in Greece was still available.

Socialist International, an umbrella group for many of the world’s social democratic political parties such as Britain’s Labor Party, says it supports socialism and is harshly critical of U.S. policies.

I have long contended that the theory of anthrop0genic global warming is nothing but a vehicle to force socialism on the free West.

After all, the “science” of anthropogenic global warming doesn’t even pass the smell test.

In addition to being supported by totally unproven conjecture (only “science” in a B-grade sci-fi movie), all the major facts contradict the contention that human beings are causing the planet to warm up.  The possibility of man-made global warming stands in contradiction to evidence which indicates radical climate change going back thousands of years (some claim even farther back).

It also ignores the most likely source of any climate change: that huge star in the middle of our solar system we call “the sun.”  The likelihood that the sun may be warming or allowing our planet to cool is further reinforced by the discovery of global warming throughout the solar system in places like Mars and Jupiter.  The last I checked, there were no SUVs, power plants, or even nasty capitalistic humans on Mars or Jupiter.

Obama has said emasculating our economy to pay homage to the religion of anthropogenic global warming will be a high priority in his administration, and he has picked a brazen socialist to advance that priority as “global warming czar.”

And, as a reader named Lisa pointed out in a recent column by Ken Blanchard, the term “czar” holds no good connotations for our republic:

The word czar comes from the Russian tsar which in turn was derived from the Latin Caesar. It means an emperor or autocrat. When used in relation to American government it is used sardonically to suggest that someone is given authority inconsistent with a democracy.

Indeed.

Americans should be very concerned, not only that their great nation is in jeopardy of being weakened by an anti-American agenda, but is being placed in danger based on no real scientific evidence at all.
