Obama Embracing a Snipping Lie
"If anyone asks, you're a sniper, okay?"
It’s difficult to get a grasp on reality when the world is becoming nothing more than a political spin machine. A spin machine that seems intent on convincing us that up is down and west is east and might even suggest (if it fit the need of the moment) that the Beatles actually came from a village of bugs, rather than having been talented individuals that made a significant difference in the world of music.
Then comes the Hillary spin and all the dizziness it affords the unsuspecting as well as the suspecting. Grab on to your seats. It ain’t over yet.
During the campaign, Hillary Clinton insisted that she had been exposed to sniper fire and was forced, with her daughter, to run and duck. The truth, however, had been caught on film, leaving no question about it. Hillary Clinton had been caught in a big whopper!
Her response? She “mis-spoke”. Like using the term “mis-spoke” changed the facts. It didn’t. No matter the term she used, or the excuses she felt the American people should accept, the truth remained and remains the same — Hillary Clinton LIED about being under sniper fire!
The amazing thing about all of this is that President-elect Obama, who talks about transparency and supposedly worries about even the appearance of inappropriate behavior, has embraced Hillary Clinton as though her obvious lies are of no concern to him.
Instead, he respects her and has nominated her for such an important position as Secretary of State? Instead, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved his nomination of Hillary Clinton to be secretary of state?
President-elect Obama has stood before the American people and given the suggestion that he is an honest and honorable man that does not, and will not, tolerate dishonesty. How can that suggestion be taken seriously, when he then readily nominates Hillary Clinton to anything, much less to such an important position as Secretary of State?
It can’t be. It can only leave one to wonder why Obama is embracing one who so blatantly lied to the American people he – Obama – will be sworn to serve. Yes, it can only leave one to wonder.
