Democrat Crybabies Pile on Rush Limbaugh

CB107538What a bunch of crybabies!

Not content for their flagbearer President Barack Obama to go after a private citizen,  CNS News reports the Democrat whiners have organized a bellyaching petition against a private citizen:

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh for saying last week that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail.

The petition includes a 19-second sound byte of Limbaugh, saying, “If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to this guy, say ‘okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.’”

What a bunch of milksops.  They might possibly have something worth being upset about if Limbaugh were an elected official.  These guys can’t even handle a radio guy, much less serious political opposition; they’d probably be in over their heads if there was any in the Republican leadership on the Hill.

Was there a shred of good will shown to President Bush by the Democrats in the last eight years?  After a few weeks of grudgingly forced smiles following 911 (remember Hillary Clinton’s contemptuous expressions when Bush addressed Congress 10 days after 911?), the good will dried up.

Even as we prosecuted the War on Terrorism and the liberation of Iraq, we only saw backbiting, dissension and political sabotage from the Democrats.  Except for Joe Lieberman, never were there any expressions of hope that President Bush would succeed at anything.

It probably isn’t reasonable to expect socialists like those that make up most of the Democrat Party to support a Republican on very much, but a little solidarity when the nation is at war shouldn’t be too much to ask.

If President Obama’s agenda for the United States was one that was in harmony with American values, one that would be good for our nation and not devastating to it, I think it’s safe to say that, like me, Rush Limbaugh would want to see Obama succeed.

But since President Obama has made it clear that his prescription for America is more of the same poison that has this nation ailing,  and new flavors of poison, I, too, hope that he fails.

Obama has called for more big government spending,  closing the terrorist POW camp at Club Gitmo, appeasing America’s enemies,  has made clear his disdain for our Constitution and limited government,  has declared open season on unborn children, has declared his intention to undermine marriage and family in America,  and plans to devastate our military strength.

I’m sorry, friends, but I just don’t see much that I want President Obama to succeed at.   I’m not suicidal, and I don’t want to see my country suicidal, either.

What does this tell you? The Republican Party is no obstacle but Rush Limbaugh is? This is hilarious. Was there any "outrage" when Dan Blather fielded his Big Black National Lie about W's National Guard records or talk of telling Dan to back off? Did the Republican Congressional Committee circulate a petition denouncing, media Drive-By, (fill in the blank here with whichever one you last heard) for their twisted and biased attacks on anything GW or the Republicans in Congress were trying to do? (I don't mean things like "Bridges to Nowhere," Republicans were just acting like Democrats.) Like the reforms offered in 2006 that would have changed the loose lending practices at Freddie-Mac and Fannie-Mae and avoided the sub-prime melt down. These reforms were passed by ALL Republicans on the Banking Committee and opposed by ALL Democrats (including Tim Johnson, but the local Drive-Bys didn't want you to know that.). It wasn't brought to a vote on the floor of the Senate because it was opposed by ALL Democrats, including Barry Obama. Did you see that in the NYT? On CNN? At daily kos? No, Rush must continue to shine the light of Truth on our national disgrace. Now more than ever.
