Thune Elected to Number 5 Senate Republican Spot

The Rapid City Journal reports Senator John Thune was elected by fellow Republicans to the Senate Republican Conference vice chairman, the #5 Republican spot in the U.S. Senate.

Not bad for a guy in his first term in the Senate.
