Senator Thune: Gov. Palin a Great Addition to the Ticket

August 29th, 2008 – Washington, D.C. – Senator John Thune issued the following statement regarding Senator John McCain’s pick of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate:

“Governor Palin is a great addition to the ticket. This decision proves John McCain is serious about changing Washington. Her experience as a reform-minded governor and a mother of five will have broad appeal and will richly add to the future of this country,” said Thune.
