Clinton & Obama Leave the Fight Up to Campaign Personnel?
I'm a little lost! Maybe more than a little! But.... How can it be said by the press that Senator Clinton tried to remain above the fray, and reporting that she said she was going to run a positive campaign, while then saying that she left it to her campaign to deal with the situation regarding Obama? Did the AP reporter write that portion of the article with a straight face? I know I wouldn't have been able to. Senator Clinton is supposedly upset because a former Clinton supporter (her husband's -- not hers) has gone over to the Obama camp. A former supporter that allegedly said something to the effect that "everybody in politics lies, but the Clinton's do it with such ease, it's troubling." She is upset and thinks that Obama should denounce the man and give back the donation? And he would be required to do this because why? Clinton is accepting the support of someone that said far worse things about Obama than was said about her and her husband. Just because Senator Ford apologized, doesn't mean what he said is going to be removed from the thoughts and minds of the voters. Thoughts that implied that Obama, as a person with black heritage, would bring down the Democratic ticket. Oh, Clinton allegedly disagreed with what Ford said, but was willing to take benefit of his support, while then saying that Obama shouldn't accept any support from Geffen for daring to speak against her and Bill? I'm sure that this makes sense to her somehow, but it doesn't to me. After all, President Bill Clinton did stand in front of a nation and under oath swear that he did not have sex with Monica. He then declared that he did not realize that oral sex is sex? Well, apparently Hillary knew because by all news reports back then -- she was totally ticked at the man she now looks so lovingly at. Is that because he is supporting her in what she wants? Would she look so lovingly if he didn't? I'm not sure what Hillary thinks and feels, but if she thinks many of us are stupid enough not to realize that her campaign crew are representative of her thoughts, representing her, and running interference for her -- she is disrespecting the very people she claims she wishes to represent. Maybe she doesn't care. Maybe she just thinks we are all too stupid to catch on to anything that might not add up right. Who knows. But this I would like to say... If Obama is suppose to give back money and the support from Geffen for Geffen daring to say something about the Clinton's, then it is only right that Clinton should have to give back all the money and support from Ford for him having dared say something about Obama! Simple!
