THE WORLD HAS GONE MAD
10/14/2006
Floridian Foley Incident Proof
By Carrie K. Hutchens Former Representative Mark Foley's incident isn't just about him and his inappropriate behavior. It is representative of far more reaching problem than a single man behaving in a fashion not acceptable and getting caught. It is representative of a mind set (self/self-serving) that has gone over the edge and now has nowhere to go, but either up or straight to meet the devil and his gang. Once again, we have someone in power acting in a fashion that appears to be inappropriate and an abuse of his position of trust. The incident was reported and it appears that little was done in some insistences, while nothing was done in others. Who all knew about the complaints and did little or nothing? How many turned their heads entirely or blew it off as a non-issue of little importance? How many tried to cover up and keep everything low-key? How many failed those pages? No matter the entire story and what will come of the investigation, this matter should be one that people take note of. Mark Foley got by with his behavior for quite some years (according to news reports), but it didn't last. His case proves that all it takes is the truth (proof) getting into the hands of the right people and all those cover-ups will begin to unravel and reveal and once again prove that ultimately -- no one is "untouchable". No one, not even if they are from Florida and thinking they have immunity laws (or can hurry up and make some) that make them so. Florida seems to have lost it's innocent orange juice image and replaced it with a plague of madness. Florida, where a judge and Michael Schiavo can readily ignore federal subpoenas, where people can be easily sent to the death chambers of a hospice to be starved and dehydrated to death, and all with no appearance of any of the consequences that everyone else would be required to pay. A recent case proves it once again. In Wisconsin, a woman was charged for failing to properly feed and water hamsters. Not that that wasn't a horrendous and wrongful thing to have done to the innocent beings, but what about the innocent PEOPLE it is being done to down in Florida? Why is it a crime to do to animals in Wisconsin, what Florida is getting by with doing to people down there? Foley's questionable behavior was reported long ago. Likewise, in the Schiavo case, incidents were reported and it appears that little was done in some insistences, while nothing was done in others. Who all knew about the complaints and did little or nothing? How many turned their heads entirely or blew it off as a non-issue of little importance? How many tried to cover up and keep everything low-key? How many failed Terri Schiavo and those such as she? How many people put their wants and careers before the life of the innocent? It's true... The Foley incident is proof that when one thinks all is hopeless and no one will listen or help, there is always the possibility the right person will see the truth (proof) and prove once again that wrongful deeds and cover-ups aren't like diamonds. They have no guarantee of lasting forever and seldom do
